Temporary Pavement Installation Starts March 8

Traffic Advisory

March 7, 2021

On Monday, March 8, weather permitting, the next phase of work on the US 40 Improvements Project will begin.

One lane of travel in each direction will remain open on US 40 between Dog Leg Rd. and Peters Pk. while temporary pavement is installed on the south side of US 40. This work is expected to take approximately one week, weather permitting.

Once the temporary pavement has been installed, traffic will be shifted onto the new pavement, and improvement work will take place on the north side of US 40. This phase of work will include roadway widening, pavement reconstruction, and water line and storm sewer improvements on US 40 between Dog Leg Rd. and Peters Pk.

Drivers should be aware of work crews and flaggers in place to support traffic flow and use extra caution when driving through the project area.
